Retrobits is a UK based company that was started in 2020 with a view of selling import retro games and consoles. These are sometimes hard to find in good and / or complete condition especially in the UK as many games weren’t imported in great numbers.

Retrobits stocks mainly Japanese import video games at present but will also stock PAL (UK) games as stock becomes available and possibly NTSC-U if the option arises.

We will be selling and distributing games throughout the UK and hope to be selling to the rest of the world very soon.

Now I know some people will be asking the question “why bother with real games, why not just emulate?” Whilst this is a valid question and could be discussed at length, the simple answer is sometimes you don’t get the same satisfaction from sitting down with original hardware and original games and going “old school” There’s also something very special about owning a 20+ year old game that evokes memories gone by or having a physical copy of that game you always wanted but never had.

Lastly, as this is a new company, learning as we go along, members are welcome to contact us and offer suggestions on what they would like to see on the website, however at this moment in time I can say that there are no intentions to create a forum, blog etc as there isn’t enough time in the day to manage one, however all other suggestions will be considered.
